The Research On China News Awards Of Typical Character Report

China News Awards is the highest award for national annual excellent news works.Since its establishment in 1991,it has been selected for 29 times.Its preciseness and authority were recognized by the press.The award-winning works of decades also reflect the development trend of China's journalism and the adherence of China's mainstream news values.As a unique way of reporting in China,the typical character report plays an important role in spreading the mainstream values and guiding the public opinion.Therefore,the research on the award-winning works of China News Awards and the report of typical characters can not only sort out the framework of the report of typical characters of China News Awards,but also take full care of the times and characters reflected in the works.This paper takes the works of the first prize and the special prize of the typical character report of the 29 th China News Awards from 1990 to 2018 as samples,adopts the research method of combining quantitative and qualitative analysis,and uses the news frame theory of Gamson to analyze the frame "boundary" and frame "structure" of 131 typical character reports.It takes the report theme,the choice of the characters,the report structure the report value,the report language to analyzes the consistent value standards and the evolving selection rules of the China News Awards in the past 29 years.Finally,through further comparison with foreign influential news awards,we can improve the model of China News Awards.At the same time,we can provide experience for typical character reports by revealing the law.This paper consists of five parts:The first part is the introduction.It mainly expounds the research background and significance of this paper,the research objects and research methods,combs the research results of domestic scholars on China News Awards and typical character reports,and briefly introduces the researchobjects and research methods of this paper.The first chapter focuses on the historical development of China News Awards and the criteria of awards,the related concepts and development process of typical character reporting,the development of news framework theory and its application in the research of China News Awards.In the second chapter,on the basis of the theory of "boundary" of Gamson's news framework,referring to the award criteria of China News Awards,the author analyzes from two angles of the theme and the character framework,and summarizes the characteristics of the typical characters' reports in news selection,such as the theme is important,the characters are from the high to the common people.The third chapter,based on the theory of "structure" of Gamson's news framework,and referring to the criteria of China News Awards,analyzes the three aspects of structure layout,value orientation and language characteristics,and concludes that the media always focuses on positive publicity when it comes to the structure of typical characters' reports,and the report structure has the characteristics of interactive reports on the main and secondary characters and reordering the time and space order.At the same time,there are some problems in the report,such as too much literary language,weakening the authenticity of the news.In the fourth chapter,through the reference of foreign mainstream news awards,the author puts forward some suggestions to improve the influence of news value,break the award setting based on genre,and refine the award standard of news professionalism;properly study the advantages of self-worth,clever use of details,language humor;in the special edition of The Pulitzer Prizes;and report on typical characters Two suggestions are put forward for the development: the characters are in line with the spirit of the times,and the works are in line with the award criteria.
