Research On The Construction Of Public Space In Community Library

Nowadays,libraries as public spaces play an important role in the construction of socialist spiritual civilization.Community libraries can better educate the public with their unique convenience.With the progress of science and technology and the improvement of living standards,the demand for community libraries is increasing.Therefore,research on the more perfect service function of Community Library under the concept of public space and building community library that is in line with the needs of the times is our concern.First,this article studies the papers and works on public space theory,excavates the characteristics,functions and significance of public space,and finds out the connection point between community library and public space.At the same time,this paper studies the necessity,objectives and principles of the construction of public space in the community library;Secondly,this article expands the original functions and services of the community library under the theory of public space,and constructs the theoretical model of public library space.This article analyzes the role and influence of the theoretical model in the operation of the community library;Thirdly,this article investigates the community libraries in Fuzhou and Xiamen area to understand the specific status of the public space construction in the community library,the effect and the lack of construction in the public.This article makes a summary of the research and provides ideas for the future direction of construction;Finally,This paper analyzes the difficulties and shortcomings faced by the research community library in the construction of public space,and puts forward strategies for promoting the development of public space in community library,so as to better promote the positive role of Community Library in cultural construction.
