Research On The Management Problems In The Intelligence Transition Of University Libraries

The university library has been shouldering the important mission of serving the readers.It is the academic exchange and cultural communication center of the school.The diversified information resources that the library can provide great convenience for the readers in scientific research and study.However,in the era of high-speed development of network information,the development of various new technologies and the appearance of information explosion phenomenon make readers'access to information more extensive and convenient.Many functions of the traditional university library have been replaced by new technology and new equipment.Readers can obtain a large number of information resources without going into the library again.The traditional management and operation mode of university library can no longer adapt to the readers'demand.The"Wisdom Library"solved the present crisis of the traditional university library and point ed out the way for the long-term survival and development of traditional university libraries in the future.Libraries at home and abroad have followed the example of this concept.According to the characteristics of their respective libraries,they have updated their management concepts in accordance with the development characteristics of wisdom libraries,transformed and upgraded from various perspectives of mana"gement,and developed a smart library road that meets the characteristics of their own library conditions.In order to meet the increasingly diverse needs of readers.Thus,the university library becomes the most authoritative and convenient information resources sharing service organization in the readers'hearts.Therefore,under the background of the coming era of wisdom library,it is of great practical and strategic significance to explore the management problems in the transformation of traditional libraries in universities in China.Based on the characteristics and requirements of intelligent libraries,this paper analyzes the problems and causes of traditional libraries in colleges and universities,and then puts forward the improvement strategies and paths,in an attempt to provide reference basis for the transformation and upgrading of university libraries.This article is divided into three parts.The first part is the introduction,mainly introduces the background significance of the topic and the current research situation at home and abroad.The second part mainly expounds the concept and characteristics of the smart library,and combines the characteristics of the traditional university library and the wisdom library,and analyzes the differences between the two.The third part is based on the empirical investigation results,and combining with the research results of domestic scholars,analyzes the existing problems and causes of the management of traditional university libraries.The fourth part puts forward the methods and strategies of the transformation from the traditional library to the intelligent library from the five aspects of the management mechanism,technology,service,space and librarians of the university library.The specific contents of each strategy are described in detail.
