With the rise of big data and cloud computing,the performance of data center has been more and more concerned.As the support system of data center operating,infrastructure management system(DCIM)of data center is also increasingly complicated,and that involves multiple independent sub-systems,such as transformer and distribution system,refrigeration system and dynamic ambient system,those provided by multiple supplier respectively.The implementation of DCIM system which is the upper management system of infrastructure becomes more and more sophisticated at the same time.How to schedule the DCIM system project becomes a challenging affair.This article solves the HLJ data center project schedule and progress control based on the field of project management professional technology as follows:(1)Characteristics analysis of schedule about the DCIM project of the HLJ data centerIntroduces the background about DCIM project of the HLJ data center and the construction contents of the project,then analyzes the characteristics of relevant schedule management of DCIM project.(2)The research about the establishment of progress method based on critical chain technology and case studyFirstly,it studies the process of compiling schedule based on critical chain technology,makes clear that working content and method in each step,and sums up the previous method of estimating activity duration.Secondly.it focuses on the method of identifying critical chain and buffer Settings,establishes a mathematical model about project progress based on the critical chain method,designs a method to solve the model based on genetic algorithm for identifying the critical chain and getting the time limit for a project.Finally,it verifies the effectiveness of the process,the proposed model and the algorithm by case studies with the actual data of HLJ data center project.By completing the work breakdown structures,activity sequencing,project resource definitions,activity duration estimating,critical chain and non-critical identify,buffer setting and so on,in the end this project baseline schedule is established.(3)The method of progress control for HLJ data center projectBased on the methodology of project progress control and previous practical experience,the progress control method for HLJ data center project is designed.Project buffer management is the important content of this project progress control.On the basis of the three color management,the improved method used to manage the project buffer is expected in the article.The improvement of project schedule management is realized by the research of this paper.At the same time,it also provides some references for the project management of peers in the application of critical chain method.
