Study On Mobile Reading Service Of Public Library

The rapid development and popularization of Internet technology has profoundly changed people's way of life,people's reading behavior has been changing with the rapid development of the mobile Internet.People gradually shift from reading traditional paper books to reading various digital resources.In the current social situation,libraries must change their service methods according to the needs of the society.On the basis of continuing to provide traditional reading service methods,they must develop new service methods and service channels and work on mobile reading services to meet users' information need.This paper has introduced and analyzed the mobile reading service of public library from six parts.Among them the core aspect is the theory of public mobile reading?the content resources of Shanghai Library's mobile reading service?the introduction of Shanghai Library's mobile reading platform?the innovation initiatives on the mobile reading platform?some problems encountered during the development of the mobile reading platform through its establishment and suggestions on the development of public libraries' mobile reading service.The first part of this article is the introduction.This part is the background and significance of this paper.In this section,the focus includes an introduction to the library's mobile reading related projects.Finally,the author briefly expounds the research ideas,research methods and innovations of this article.The second part defines and analyzes the differences between mobile reading,and digital reading,library mobile reading,library mobile reading services,etc.,so as to better introduce and analyze the mobile reading service of public library.The third part is the analysis of the current status of mobile reading service in Shanghai Library.In this section,highlights include the content resources of Shanghai Library's mobile reading service,the development of the Shanghai Library's mobile reading platform,the innovative initiatives of the Shanghai Library's mobile reading platform,and the comparison of Shanghai public library mobile reading platform and NYC public library mobile reading platform.The fourth part analyzes the problems existing in Shanghai Mobile Library's mobile reading service,which can be summarized as five issues: less interaction with the readers;the mobile reading platform still needs to be optimized and perfected;the copyright issue cannot be solved,and the quality resources are scarce;The development of mobile reading services is too simple,it is difficult to stimulate readers' interest in reading,and funding for digitalIn the fifth part,based on the problems existing in the development of mobile reading service by the Shanghai Library,we put forward some countermeasures and suggestions for public libraries improve mobile reading service.The last part is conclusion.Mainly for the summary of the content,summoned the Shanghai Library to enrich the content and form of mobile reading services,and promote the development of mobile reading services.In addition,Introduce some problems occurred in the writing process of this article and areas that need to be optimized.
