The library has always played an indispensable role as a carrier of knowledge.The library not only provides a broad learning platform for users,but also serves as a channel for disseminating knowledge for a long time,conveying the voice of knowledge to the public.The advancement of information technology has made the channels for people to receive knowledge more and more abundant and convenient,and the role positioning and service content of the library are also quietly changing.With the progress of the times and the promotion of the national education development strategy,all colleges and universities across the country have set corresponding construction goals.Under the new situation,under the premise of serving all education,university libraries strive to meet the needs of readers,provide a better learning and research environment,improve service conditions in all aspects,and enhance their service capabilities.At this stage,the incentive behavior of librarians in the library of Shandong University still stays at a more conservative and formal stage.The library lacks the investigation and analysis of the incentive needs of librarians.The library has problems such as low incentive satisfaction,imperfect incentive system,and single incentive method and means.This paper applies the theory of motivation and career planning,combined with the investigation of the satisfaction survey and motivation status of readers in Shandong University Library,and finds the problems from the various situations shown in the survey,from the perspectives of ideological concepts,institutional mechanisms,measures and methods.Analyze the causes,and propose countermeasures related to incentive concepts,incentive systems,and incentive methods in response to relevant problem causes.This paper aims to improve the various aspects of incentives from concept to mechanism measures,and strive to improve the measures in the implementation of librarians'incentives,solve practical problems,help the implementation of incentives in place,and be practical,thus motivating librarians to work better.To serve the construction of school education.
