in 2017,China built 7.05 million km of new optical fiber lines,and the total length of national optical fiber lines reached 37.47 million km,an increase of 23.2% over the previous year.At the same time,the state ministry of industry and information technology and the ministry of housing and urban-rural development promulgated the "code of design for intra-fiber-to-household communication facilities in residential and residential buildings" and "code of construction and acceptance of intra-fiber-to-household communication facilities in residential and residential buildings" also clearly proposed that new residential buildings must fully realize fiber-to-household.It can be seen that the realization of optical fiber household has become the basic requirements of distribution network construction.As a communication network operator,the provincial broadcasting and television network companies are also facing opportunities and challenges.Under the background of triple play,the domestic telecommunication market will gradually liberalize the monopoly of resources in various fields.The broadcasting and television live broadcasting service of broadcasting and television operators is facing the real risk of the declining number of basic users.Therefore,in the process of the construction and transformation of the optical fiber home distribution network,it is urgent for the broadcasting operators to choose a scheme which is suitable for the characteristics of the broadcasting and television business and has the technical foresight.In view of the actual demand of broadcasting and television industry,Jilin Radio and Television has initiated a 10,000-megabit fiber-to-home solution called I-PON.I-PON technology has been successfully listed as one of the three recommended schemes in the CATV Network Optical Fiber to Home(C-FTTH)Technical Specification of the State Administration of Radio,Film and Television(SAFT).It has been deployed in many areas in China and has achieved outstanding practical results.Compared with the traditional FTTH bidirectional home entry scheme,I-PON technology scheme has comprehensive advantages,such as independent downlink audio and video push bandwidth,non-interference with bidirectional channels,complete passivity of access network,simple construction and maintenance,high efficiency and reliability of the system,and so on.Other provinces in the country have adopted the technology industry's peers alike.The main content of this paper is as follows:1.Introduced the research background,implementation methods and characteristics of i-pon technology,and compared i-pon technology with CMTS,PON+LAN and PON+EoC programs one by one.By the analysis and summary,I-PON technology 1Gbps bandwidth fully meet the needs of radio,film and television industry to carry out the high clear video business,based on 1Gbps IP broadcast technology of optical fiber to the home network architecture,realizes the one-way 1Gbps IP data flow,with the network safe and reliable,easy to deploy,higher ratio of a lot of advantage,with the CMTS,PON + LAN,PON + EoC solutions when comparing the I-PON showed obvious technical advantage.2.According to different demands and characteristics of urban and rural areas,appropriate I-PON distribution network engineering design schemes are proposed respectively.In the project design of urban distribution network,a reasonable design plan is put forward for the construction standard of main front-to-split-front-end optical cable routing,split-front-end,and outdoor junction box optical cable routing and distribution network in the community.In the project design of rural distribution network,this paper puts forward two levels of planning schemes of "from town to village" and "from village to village".3.The construction materials involved in the construction of I-PON distribution network are introduced,and the calculation method of system index and loss is proposed.In terms of construction materials,the specification of unit distribution box,optical splitter,household optical cable,user box,special jumper fiber for fiber set-top box,and agricultural network fiber distribution box are explained and explained.In terms of the calculation of system index and loss,the range of 1550 nm optical amplifier,optical fiber set-top box and OLT terminal receiving luminous power is defined,and the calculation method of optical channel attenuation is introduced.4.Introduced the design scheme of I-PON distribution network of a new high-rise community with examples.At
