In the last decade,the Next Generation Broadcasting Network(NGB)has been developing towards the direction of digitization,networking,interaction,high definition and multi-service.Especially under the development strategies of“integration of three networks”(telecommunication,Internet and broadcasting)and“Broadband China”,NGB brings the huge impact and challenge on the existing cable TV system.The existing access technology of Henan cable has fell behind in the competition of broadband access.In future,as for the choice of access technology,FTTH(Fiber To The Home)will become the inevitable trend.Fiber access technology has the advantages of good electromagnetic immunity,great transmission capacity,unlimited bandwidth,etc.,simultaneously featuring high safety of transmission medium,difficulty of being stolen,etc.Undoubtedly,FTTP will be the mainstream network access technology.Especially the technology of passive optical-fiber network,it is free from the deficiencies of active access technology,such as unchanged power supply,complex equipment,high equipment costs,etc.,which remarkably improves the stability and reliability of network transmission system.With the reform of Henan cable FTTH as the object of the study and in combination with the existing new standards in broadcasting industry,this paper summarized the networking schemes of the existing cable TV FTTH,introduced the parameters and key techniques of PON(Passive Optical Network)technology,and analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of PON technology.Based on the current situation of bilateral network of Henan cable TV and the future trend of broadcasting network,in conformity with the principles to meet the open,operational,controllable and appreciation requirements of the network,the paper put forward the technical scheme of FTTH.In the scheme,FTTH system was divided into double planar structures,namely A and B.Plane A carried the original digital TV broadcasting circuit and VOD(video-on-demand)circuit,while plane B carried data circuit basedon EPON(Ethernet PON).The paper also analyzed the access capacity and network evolution.At last,the paper made an analysis on the FTTH project in Xicheng Metropolis Community in Anyang,and looked ahead to the prospects of the FTTH of broadcasting network.
