The Investigation And Analysis Of The Preservation Organization's Storage To Digital Resources

In the era of rapid change of digital information,the advantages of digital information resources are highlighted,the comprehensive availability of digital resources is at a higher level,and the demand of users for digital resources continues to grow.In order to meet the needs of users,the practice of digital resource preservation has become the core of the work of the preservation mechanism under the background of obtaining massive digital resources in order to meet the needs of users.On the one hand,it is beneficial to promote the efficient storage of digital resources,and at the same time,it brings a series of challenges for the development of preservation projects in digital preservation institutions.In this paper,we collected three surveys on the practice of digital resource storage in preservation institutions abroad(In 2015 and 2017,The National Digital Stewardship Alliance(NDSA)conducted a survey on the practice of digital resource storage in its internal depository institutions.In 2017,NDSA summarized the survey on digital preserving staffing,and in 2017 NDSA summarized the survey on fixity checking).We summarize the investigation model of digital resource preservation in foreign conservation projects,introduce the investigation model into this study,and obtain the survey data of the domestic institutions preserving practice.By comparing the results of investigation at home and abroad,this paper analyzes the standards,ways and management of digital resource storage,and finds that: foreign storage standards basically construct a complete system,but the degree of penetration is not high in the domestic preservation institutions;The mode of digital resource preservation in our country is single and can not be preserved efficiently,while the management system of digital resource storage in foreign countries is more perfect,and the domestic need to explore a more applicable digital resource management mode and so on.Since the research of digital resource preservation in foreign countries started early,the practice is more mature.Finally,according to the practice of digital resource preservation in foreign countries and the specific situation in our country,this paperputs forward some suggestions: the institutions needs to formulate or adopt the digital resource storage standard which accords with its own requirements;The management of digital resource preservation by depository institutions should speed up the improvement of the framework and clarify the implementation details.
