Investigation And Analysis Of The Preservation Organization's Acquistion To Digital Content

Human society has entered the digital age,and digital information resources have become the preferred information resource for users.Digital preservation organizations need to continuously acquire and enrich digital resources to meet the needs of growing and changing users.The implementation of this work,on the one hand,to bring more information choices to the majority of users,but on the other hand also brings many challenges to the preservation organization to obtain digital resources.Therefore,the investigation and preservation organization obtains the status quo of digital resources,analyzes the existing problems,proposes some solutions to the problems,and even some solutions,which not only facilitates the sustainable satisfaction of user needs,but also establishes the preservation plan for the preservation of digital resources for the preservation organization.Provide a practical reference.This paper is based on a summary of four foreign surveys(2010 OCLC Conservation Agency Digital Resource Management Survey,2012 ARL Conservation Agency Native Digital Resource Management Survey,2016 Alabama Library's Conservation Agency Digital Resource Acquisition Survey,2017)The data of the digital resource acquisition part of the ARL's preservation organization's original digital resource acquisition survey and the author's findings on the digital resource acquisition of the domestic preservation organization are analyzed from the perspectives of the digital resource acquisition workflow,content acquisition and challenges.Most foreign depository institutions have established access codes,but there are relatively few domestic ones;domestic and foreign depository institutions acquire multiple types of digital resources,but there are differences in specific types;compared with foreign depository institutions,domestic depository institutions acquire digital resources.The ability is relatively weak,and there is no guarantee of consistency before and after the acquisition of digital resources.Finally,with reference to the acquisition of digital resources by foreign depository institutions,suggestions are made for the acquisition of digital resources by domestic depositary institutions: the depository should develop digital resource access specifications for its own situation;the depository should deal with outdated digital resources in a timely manner;Quality,improve the technical level of business employees.
