Research On Post-disaster-reports From The Perspective Of Media Memory-

2018 is the 10th year since the Wenchuan earthquake.Over the past decade,the Wenchuan earthquake has been repeatedly retold and commemorated by the Chinese press.As an extension of the disastrous events in the past,reports emerging in the process have gradually formed a new category--post-disaster-reports.In this paper,the author defined as the media reported the extensibility of past catastrophic events,depending on the timing of the reports,divide again for the memory of the disaster itself reports,reported to cure disaster trauma and backwardness of the follow-up tracking reports of disaster and the reports of a similar disaster media by reported back to commemorate the disaster,disaster wounds heal,tectonic history context and historical analogy.Starting from the theory of media memory,this paper uses several research methods to focus on 103 reports on the 10th anniversary of Wenchuan by China youth daily,thepaper.cn and Huaxi metropolis daily,and conduct quantitative and qualitative research on them.This paper starts from the micro level text analysis,then to the medium level media analysis,and finally to the macro level social value and relationship reconstruction analysis.This paper consists of six parts.The first chapter is the introduction,and the second chapter is the framework of the theoretical basis of this paper and the definition of the concept of post-disaster reporting.The third chapter starts with the statistics of the number of reports and makes a macro analysis of the "post-Wenchuan-reports" in the past ten years.Then the selected samples are analyzed in depth from the five aspects of report genre,theme construction,source selection,discourse integration and image application.The fourth chapter takes the region as the dividing line to expound the reporting characteristics presented by the three media in the 10th anniversary report and further analyze the strategies of Wenchuan memory construction of different regional media.The fifth chapter analyzes the existing problems and puts forward relevant Suggestions from the perspective of media memory.Nowadays,there are still many problems in post-disaster reporting.In view of how the media can achieve high-quality output of post-disaster reporting in the future,relevant countermeasures are proposed to construct an imaginary community through media memory.Through research,it is found that due to the differences in system,positioning and value,media in different regions have different opportunities,ways,appeals and situations in the process of shaping media memory,which also reflects the different forms and complexity of media memory.But on the whole,the production of media memory is the secondary consumption of disaster report,and in the name of commemoration,based on the present,is to confirm and reshape the value of the present.
