Study On The Targeted Poverty Alleviation News Report

China is one of the countries with the largest number of poor people.The problem of poverty has always been a major challenge that must be taken seriously in the course of China's development.With the development of productivity and the comprehensive national strength,the overall ? coordinated development have been highly regarded by China.The 18 th CPC National Congress put forward the ambitious goal to build China into a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way by 2020,and give priority to poverty alleviation development in administering the country.General Secretary Xi Jinping proposed the latest ideas about “Targeted Poverty Alleviation” at the end of 2013,and it makes the development of poverty alleviation to a new level in breadth,depth,and precision.Targeted poverty alleviation concerns the national economy and the people's livelihood.The entire society should deepen its understanding of the importance of poverty alleviation and pay more attention and assistance to the poor people in poverty-stricken areas.The mass media is responsible for a series of social responsibilities and missions,such as making and releasing people,paying attention to the people's livelihood,and helping people in times of crisis.It should also play a vanguard role in this battle against poverty.Henan Province is one of the main battlefields for poverty alleviation across the country.Accurate poverty alleviation has always been a key task of the province,and it is also a focal point of the local media and an important topic for coverage.But,how does the media report targeted poverty alleviation issues? What kind of role does the media play in targeted poverty alleviation? What are the characteristics of the media in reporting on the issue of precision poverty alleviation? What are the problems? How to solve these problems?To cure the above problems,this paper selects “Henan Daily” as research object which belongs to Henan Province's most authoritative and representative newspaper.The paper use 269 targeted poverty alleviation reports published in 2016 and 729 in 2017 as sample and use content analysis methods and case study methods,at the same time,this paper conclude several characteristics about “Henan Daily”targeted poverty alleviation reports,for instance,using normal reports to create a positive atmosphere of public opinion,adopting news planning to build news boutiques,and applying “Internet+” innovative reporting methods,these all based on an overall understanding and analysis.However,there are also some problems.In order to effectively improve the operation mode of such reports and provide ideas and directions for improving specific news services,some reasonable proposals are made on these issues.
