Narrative Analysis Of People's Daily's Poverty Alleviation Report Under The Targeted Poverty Alleviation Strategy(2015-2019)

The promotion of targeted poverty alleviation by the news media is an important part of the ideological and propaganda work of the party and the country,and it is also an important part of winning the tough battle against poverty.In the critical period of the fight against poverty,the mainstream media should follow the party's steps to do a good job of propaganda for targeted poverty alleviation,adhere to the position of public opinion,and be connected to the "antenna" and the "ground" to allow precise poverty alleviation.The policy fell into the hearts of the people accurately and deeply,adding endogenous impetus to poverty alleviation.This article selects the news reports of People's Daily from 2015 to 2019,which are related to the theme of targeted poverty alleviation strategy,and analyzes the People's Daily as the party's organ in the battle against poverty through this news narrative study.How does it propagate in resonance with the party's poverty alleviation strategy,principles and policies,and play an important role in leading the way?This article conducts a narrative analysis of the People's Daily's accurate poverty alleviation report from 2015 to 2019 from five perspectives:narrator,narrative structure,narrative perspective,narrative time and narrative rhythm,and draws four enlightenments:1.Each narrator narrates rich report details;2.Multiple narrative structures expand the depth and breadth of the report;3.Use multiple perspectives to increase the readability of the report;4.Adjust the narrative rhythm appropriately to increase the sense of report rhythm.However,it should also be noted that there are still some problems in the accurate poverty alleviation reports of the news media.This article proposes a balanced reporting genre,strengthens the narrative perspective of the poverty alleviation objects,and enhances the voice of the poor households.The promotion of the targeted poverty alleviation by the news media is an important part of winning the battle against poverty.Therefore,the news media should pay attention to the problems in the targeted poverty alleviation report and improve the reporting strategies so as to better fulfill the important tasks they shoulder in the battle against poverty.
