With the rapid development of the global communications industry,the energy consumption of the data center is becoming more and more serious,and energy saving has become an important problem in the construction of data center.Aiming at the shortage of long experimental cycle and high experimental cost,a data center micro scale experimental platform is developed in this paper.The similarity of the temperature field and the pressure field between the miniature experimental platform and the actual data room is carried out.Then,through experimental measurement and CFD numerical simulation,the factors that affect the temperature field and velocity field of data room are studied,and the air distribution characteristics of the under floor air supply data room are analyzed,which provides a basis for engineering construction.The main contents of this paper are as follows:First,according to the structural characteristics of typical IDC room,the overall size and structural layout of the experimental platform are determined.Through the thermal design analysis of the IDC room,the air volume and load of the experimental platform were determined,and the miniature experimental platform was made.The experimental platform can realize the functions of adjusting floor height,adjusting cold channel width,adjusting floor ventilation rate and adjusting air volume.According to the solution theory of temperature field,velocity field and pressure field,the similarity criterion of temperature field,velocity field and pressure field of data room is derived by using single heat source and data room as the research object.The rationality of the above similarity criterion is verified by simulation.Secondly,experiments were carried out by changing the air supply parameters and load parameters of the experimental platform,and compared with the measured values and theoretical values,the feasibility of the experimental platform was verified.The experimental and Simulation Research on the factor of floor opening rate is carried out.The experimental law is consistent with the simulation law,and the feasibility of the application of CFD software to the study of the influence factors of heat dissipation in the data room is verified.Then,based on CFD simulation,other factors are studied,and corresponding conclusions are drawn.Finally,the stability parameters of under floor air supply is put forward for evaluating the air distribution of forward air supply in the under floor air supply data room.Through single factor analysis,the main factors affecting the parameters were determined.The response surface method is used to conclude the empirical formula between the stability parameters and the main factors,and the rationality of the formula is verified by the experiment of the miniature platform.The empirical formula can provide some guidance for the design of actual IDC room.
