With the development of science and technology,the power density of the data center is rising and the cooling system power consumption is increasing,so the energy consumption status of data center is urgent to improve.This paper mainly studies an impact for the overall energy consumption of the data center which is called outdoor air control logic contained in thermal management technology of data center of fan wall.It is long cycle and big costly that in the actual fan wall of data center to carry out experiments and research,taking into account the cycle and cost factors,here I establish a miniature experimental platform which is similar to the function of fan wall of data center to do some technology research.The details are as follows:Firstly,the thermal design analysis method was used to determine the type and parameters of each thermal characteristic device in the miniature experimental platform.The overall dimension model and device layout of the platform were determined in combination with the structural design.I designed the hardware circuit with device state control and the host computer software for platform monitoring through the STC15 development technology and Lab VIEW software,and completed the physical production of the miniature experimental platform on these basics.Experiments on the experimental platform show that the platform reaches the design requirements and has the operating characteristics of the fan wall of data center.The construction of the experimental platform has laid a foundation for the follow-up work.Secondly,according to the theoretical basis of heat transfer and computational fluid dynamics,thermal simulation software was used to simulate the experimental platform,and the distribution of temperature field and velocity field during the operation of the experimental platform was analyzed.Carrying out specific experiments in fresh air mode to verify the rationality of CFD simulation analysis,then I points out the feasibility of 6Sigma DC software in data center design.Finally,for the miniature experimental platform,with the requirements of data center air supply parameters,I analyzed the temperature and humidity parameters corresponding to each operating mode.According to the enthalpy-wet air mixing theory,I proposed a new type of high humidity air control logic with the goal of maximizing outdoor of air utilization rate.The Lab VIEW software was used to complete the program design of the control logic and the results show that the control logic is reasonable and effective.According to the actual energy efficiency situation of a fan wall of data center,I discussed the use of high humidity outdoor air control logic for energy saving in fan wall of data centers,which provides a certain reference for the actual large-scale wind wall data center thermal management technology.
