In recent years,my country's green data center construction demand is growing,and the energy consumption of data center is increasing rapidly.The airflow organization of the data center computer room directly affects the thermal environment performance of the computer room and the energy consumption of the air conditioning system.Promoting the data center to carry out energy-saving and green renovation projects in an orderly manner,and discussing the airflow organization management and energy-saving optimization methods of the computer room are important technical means to improve the power utilization efficiency of the data center and achieve my country's "dual carbon" goal.This article aims to explore the optimization method of airflow organization in the data center computer room,and provide a reference for the energy-saving control of the air conditioning cabinets,the energy-saving potential calculation of the air-conditioning system,and the energy-saving transformation of the computer room.The paper took the computer room of an upper air supply data center in South China as the research object,analyzed the operating characteristics and airflow organization of the computer room,and proposed various airflow organization optimization schemes from multiple angles;The corresponding indoor model was established by using computational fluid dynamics(CFD)simulation software to analyze the characteristics of the thermal environment temperature field and performance index of the computer room,and compare the cooling capacity utilization efficiency and the rationality of the airflow organization of different schemes;On this basis of comparison,the impact of different air conditioning cabinets on the thermal environment of the computer room was discussed,and its energy saving potential was evaluated.The main research work of the thesis is as follows:(1)According to the load power consumption characteristics,rack utilization,air supply form and thermal environment distribution of the data center computer room,this paper analyzed the problems of the airflow organization and air supply parameters in the operation process of the computer room,and analyzed the necessity of airflow organization transformation.By analyzeing the current air supply form and computer room layout structure,and using CFD simulation as the research means,the CFD model of the typical computer room with upper air supply based on the actual rack utilization was established.This model compared the airflow velocity field distribution under different rack utilization and the temperature field distribution of the computer room under the different rack server locations,which indicates that the rack utilization directly affects the air distribution and thermal environment distribution in the computer room.(2)The overall and local optimization schemes and engineering adjustment methods of the airflow organization in the computer room were designed.The optimization schemes such as air supply area planning,cold aisle air closure,hot aisle fan drainage,and local air outlet optimization based on rack utilization were proposed.According to the CFD simulation results,the thermal performance evaluation indexes of each program were proposed,which shows that the various air distribution optimization programs proposed in this paper can improve the mixing of hot and cold air,hot air recirculation,cold air bypass,and uneven temperature distribution in the computer room to varying degrees,and improve the efficiency of cold utilization in the computer room.(3)The fitting model for air supply,energy consumption and frequency of the air conditioning cabinets was established.The frequency conversion strategy for unified control of multiple air conditioning cabinets was proposed.and the energy-saving potential of the air conditioning cabinet in the computer room was fully tapped.Taking 3 sets of 50 Hz,40Hz,30 Hz air supply as an example,under the premise of satisfying the thermal environment performance,the overall and local airflow organization was optimized,and then the 4 sets of air conditioning cabinets were used to uniformly control the frequency conversion strategy,which greatly reduces the energy consumption of the computer room air conditioning system.The energy saving potential of the air conditioning system can reach more than 28%,which verifies the feasibility of the airflow organization optimization scheme proposed in this paper.
