| " Collection is the heart of the museum,and education is the soul of the museum",The museum is an important non-profit public cultural service organization that has smrited human civilization,what's more,an educational platform that opened to all the public.Museum education is an important part of Informal Science Education,however,the performance of Museum education has been often ignored in the nation's biased motives,and this is very detrimental to improve the scientific literacy of the whole nation.So I hope to improve the existing circumstances.The interpretation system of the museum is composed of the target,the audience and the media in the museum.It is the basis of the connection between the audience,the museum and the exhibits,and it is an important factor to activate the educational function of the museum.I make an empirical study on the interpretation system of two museums,including a typical example of a comprehensive museum-Hubei Museum and the Museum of science and technology-Wuhan science and technology museum.Some information has been obtained by the core method--questionnaire survey,such as the degree of preference and expectation for the various media in the museum,the evaluation of the effect of the interpretation about audience and so on.Then,with the support of the four elements of constructivism,I summarize the existing problems of the educational function of the museum from the perspective of three elements of the interpretation system,and analyze the causes of the problems.At last,I put forward some suggestions on the educational function of the museum from three aspects of the target,the audience and the media in the museum: classifying the audience and apply medicine according to indications;focusing on the interactive experience;injecting fresh blood into the target;constructing the meaning of the target;integrating the non-Self guided media;focusing on the self guided media;increasing publicity efforts. |
