With the development of microelectronics,signal transmission technology,the LED display industry has more mature development and homogeneous product originally in the outdoor advertising,stage rental and other traditional applications,making itself used to the field of application which can't be applied before,relying on the high-performance of the control system.LED control system is the core component of the LED display,which is mainly responsible for converting the video input signal into digital signal and controlling the display effect of the LED large screen device.Because the LED display uses a large number of the lamp board and the high cost of the lamp board and we can't remove part of the lamp board for maintenance or replace the lamp board to match with the control system,therefore the reconfigurable system which has the ability to change the system program or logic circuit structure dynamically,will have inestimable advantage and prospect compared to the ordinary control system.The design mainly aims at the LED display with ARM+FPGA as controller,and puts forward a kind of control system scheme with the reconfigurable function.The microprocessor's in-application programming(IAP)and FPGA's reconfigurable computing can be calculated as the research object,the MCU program will be divided into Bootloader and Application,using IAP technology to realize STM32 program updates.and FPGA will be reconfigured with PS in the control of STM32,keeping in real time reading of the special status signal to ensure the stability of system reconfiguration.An external FLASH is introduced to system for improving the reconfiguration speed of the whole system by optimizing the data processing mode and completing the storage of the parameters to reproduce the function of the system under specified condition.According to the characteristics of the control system parameters of the LED display screen,a communication protocol with reliability and real-time is designed,and the corresponding communication module is completed.A reconfigurable LED display control system is developed based on the reconfigurable function,which is composed of a real time stable transmission and a fast system update.We start the functional verification after the completion of the program design.The test results show that the system can provide correct and real-time feedback to the host computer in condition of sending a packet with an interval of 50 ms,which can provide a fast and stable interactive environment.Frequency sampling is performed for FPGA reconstruction performance and figuring out that the system can configure FPGA with PS at the rate of 1.846 Mbps.At the same time,according to the real time clock test the STM32 FLASH can be programmed at the rate of 8.43Kbytes/s,having greatly improved compared to similar products.Based on the above test,the performance analysis and comprehensive evaluation of reconfigurable system are realized,it has high application value in the development of LED display control system.
