RFID(Radio Frequency Identification)technology can identify objects' identity information whose fast and convenient communication mode can save a lot of time and improve production efficiency for many production applications.However,the RFID system has some limitations on the transmission distance of the data and can not provide the physical environment parameters in the object.Wireless sensor network(WSN),as a low cost and small network,is used to provide monitored environment information where the data is transmitted over a long distance through multi hop transmission.Therefore,the integration of RFID technology and wireless sensor network improves the function and meets the high efficient,accurate and reliable communication requirements will become the future trend of the technology of Internet of things.The paper is mainly focused on the following aspects:(1)The principles of wireless sensor network,ZigBee and RFID technology are introduced.(2)The integration of wireless sensor network and RFID technology has attracted wide attention at home and abroad,and the corresponding fusion schemes have been proposed.The combination ways of wireless sensor networks based on ZigBee technology and RFID technology includes: the fusions of RFID electronic tag and sensor?RFID electronic tag and wireless sensor network and RFID reader and wireless sensor network nodes.The fusion structures of sensor and electronic tag,ZigBee node and electronic tag,ZigBee node and reader are detailed.The corresponding network layout of different fusion architectures and the application of different network systems in new fields are discussed.(3)An important problem in the fusion network is the imbalance of energy consumption in the nodes.In order to alleviate the negative impact of energy imbalance on the network,this paper introduces energy consumption calculation methods of network under the two protocols for direct transmission protocol and minimum energy multi hop routing protocol and an improved network architecture model is designed to increase the scale of communication.(4)A kind of UHF RFID reading and writing system based on ZigBee technology is developed.Combining the ZigBee module based on CC2530 and UHF RFID reader,the communication interface circuit of ZigBee and RFID technology is designed,the communication protocols which are compatible with these two technologies are developed,the limitation of the communication distance in the RFID system is improved,and the flexibility of the RFID reading and writing system is improved.
