The Internet of things (IOT), being a research focus in the field of information, means a networkintegrating various kinds of things and occupies an important position in national strategies of allcountries around the world. IOT node platfom is the basic part in the application of IOT. Therefore, itis of great practical significance to carry out the research on IOT node platform.Having done a study on the present system of IOT, this thesis puts forward a streamlinedframework by combining the practical requirements of many different projects and designs the IOTnode platform based on this framework. Firstly, IOT nodeplatform is designed from systemicperspective and then, a detailed design of both hardware and software of sensor nodes andgatewaynodes. Hardware design includes the design of each circuit of functional module whilesoftware design involves the transplant of imbedded operating system and the development of basiccommunication software. Many key technologies are included in the designing process, including thetechnology of super-low energy consumption, Zigbee short-distance wirless communication andelectromagnetic compatibility. The issue of energy supply to IOT nodes is one of the technologicaldifficulties and this thesis makes a preliminary research on the technology of wireless radio frequencypower transmission to the sensor nodes on the basis of IOT node platform and by combining thetechnology of wireless power transmission and energy collection.At last a functional test is given to the IOT node platform and the test shows that it meets therequirements, based on which, a scheme aimed at improving the stability of IOT node platform whileworking is put forward. The experiment of wireless power transmission verificates that the scheme isboth feasible and scientific.
