When a large outbreak of influenza or contagious diseases, people living in the school campus that more intensive environment, once a case of infection, it will easily lead to large-scale infectious disease. One of the most important parameter is body temperature in the way to monitor infectious disease, although it can't be diagnosed with infectious diseases only by body temperature, it can play a warning and detect suspicious cases. At present, it's the way to collect the daily students body temperature commonly used in schools by manual measurement or centralized measurement, to detect suspected cases and the timely processing of real-time poor. For these deficiencies, to design and implementation of ZigBee wireless sensor networks based on epidemiological monitoring and warning system of schools, it can save a certain amount of manpower, material resources, improving the efficiency of measures taken and reducing the infection rate, comparing with the traditional monitoring methods.It uses sensors, computers, wireless communications, ZigBee and other technology to collect student body temperature in the system, the managements can detect abnormal temperature via real-time monitoring. According to the characteristics of the students in the school, it designed sensor node hardware with the function of position the student who is with abnormal body temperature, the sensor node hardware use RF module with Microprocessor base on CC2430 chip (System On Chip, Soc), it greatly reduces the bulk of node and the power consumption. We used Tree structure as the topology of wireless sensor network, designed the software process base on the hardware, and unified the frame format of serial communication.The system uses windows as the operating platform and VS2008 as software development platform, to design and implement the whole part of the host computer. The serial communications applications software, based on Client/Server structure, transmit the data from coordinator to PC via serial port, while saving the data to remote SQL SERVER database server. According to the features of the student management and the demand for large volumes of data, real time, quickly identify students with abnormal body temperature, we developed student body temperature monitoring system based on Browser/Server, it help us to comprehensive, reliable, real-time get the position and body temperature of students for any remote users, at the same time, the users also can monitor the operation status of wireless sensor networks.
