The Outline of Cultural Reform and Development Plan during the national “13th Five-Year Plan” proposes the policy that we should speed up the construction of modern public cultural service system with the characteristics of inclusiveness,building up a basic safety net,equitable access and sustainable development.It also proposes that we should perfect all types of public cultural infrastructure at all levels,do a good job in the planning and construction of library and promote the opening of public cultural facilities which are free of charge.At present,there are still many difficulties in China's community libraries,which remain a weak link in the urban public cultural service system.Therefore,when building a community library,we must stick to the idea that we should consider readers as the center and conduct the construction work based on the demands of the readers.The paper studies community libraries from the perspective of readers' satisfaction.This article mainly starts from the following aspects:First of all,this article starts from the evaluation of readers' satisfaction in community libraries and explains the background,the main content,the innovation and the significance of the topic selection.Among them,the practical significance of this article is to build the readers' satisfaction dimension system for community libraries.The article puts forward feasible suggestions for improving the overall level of community libraries.Then it summarizes and analyzes the domestic and foreign literature,and based on this,it analyzes the connotation,characteristics,functions,and service objects of the community libraries in order to construct the theoretical framework of community libraries.The article also integrates relevant theories of customers' satisfaction,especially the US Customer Satisfaction Index Model,and mainly analyzes the connotation of readers' satisfaction in community libraries(that is readers' satisfaction with community library services)and influencing factors(including documentations,accessibility,librarians,services,the environment and the facilities),thus building the theoretical basis for readers' satisfaction in community libraries.Secondly,by referring to the Chinese and foreign customers' satisfaction index model,combining the current situations of community libraries and selecting the appropriate variables of the readers' satisfaction in the community library,the readers' satisfaction index model of the community library is constructed.Finally,through questionnaires and interviews,the Guangzhou CG Community Library was selected to conduct surveys to collect readers' satisfaction data for the museum.SPSS 19.0 software was used to analyze the data which were obtained.After the analysis,the main characteristics of readers in community library were obtained.The significant factors that have impacts on community library satisfaction and the low satisfaction of readers in community library and its reason are concluded.Other situations,such as the service can not keep up with readers' expectations,the lack of equipment,the lack of electronic resources and lack of documentation resources are also obtained.Based on the above analysis results,we propose the following countermeasures to improve readers' satisfaction in community library: strengthen the quality of librarians,pay attention to the expectations of vulnerable groups and readers,improve community library's facilities,and build and maintain the image of community libraries.
