A Study Of The Phenomeon Of Reversal News In The Context Of Post-truth

As an emerging phenomenon of news dissemination in recent years,the reversal news is increasingly drawing attention from the academic community.This thesis uses 2013 to 2017 as the time node,selects 60 typical events of reversal news as research texts.Firstly,the author analyzes the content as a whole,then takes the media and the public as the main subjects,selects two disputable cases of reversal news to analyze their multiple images respectively.Afterwards,the author analyzes the two elements of reversal news-information and paradox.Then discuss the interaction between them.This thesis conducts relevant research on the phenomenon of reverse news in the context of post-truth,objectively evaluates its positive and negative effects,and seeks effective strategies to avoid negative influences from multiple dimensions of technology,government,media,and the public.The research results show that reversal occurs in the news of social livelihoods and is closely linked with social hotspot events,highlighting deep social issues.There are multiple images in both the media and the public in the reversal news.The media may not only be the initiator of reversal of news,but also may become the backbone of the promotion of reversal;the public may have blind obedience and may become rational citizens.The phenomenon of reversal of news has both advantages and disadvantages.It needs to be treated dialectically and targeted measures must be sought.Overviewing the current phenomenon of reversal news phenomenon,it is mostly one-sided analysis of its characteristics,causes,and hazards.For the first time,this paper combines quantitative analysis with qualitative analysis to try to explore the performance characteristics and meaning of reversal news.In addition,researching the phenomena of reversing news in the context of post-truth also has important implications for the analysis and resolution of social issues behind the phenomenon.
