The Research On Community Information Service Terminal Design For Migration Of The Elderly Based On Semiotic Approach To Product Architecture Design

Now for more and more people move into the city with the rapid development of urbanization and the implementation of the two-child policy,The population of the so-called Migration of the elderly has become larger.So many Migration of the elderly has led to wide social concerns.The elder floating generation,who are new in the city,are unfamiliar with the living environment and they have to face the problems of weak social relationships.Though both the government and scholars always explore how to make migration of the elderly to adapt to the new life in city,They pay much attention to life security and social welfare.Meanwhile scholars have made a lot of research and results about how to make the old people adapt to society.But most of them make the research from the sociological perspective and they do not make the research from the detailed level perspective about the adaption of make migration of the elderly to the community.This thesis make a deep research about how make migration of the elderly in Guangzhou adapt to community based on SAPAD(Semiotic Approach to Product Architecture Design).SAPAD theoretical framework originates from semiotics.It builds up the product from the behavior,object and significance.By analyzing the relationship of behavior-significance-object,it works out a product structure,which is user-centric and able to realize the goal of innovation.The migration of the elderly in Yingcai Meiju community in Guangzhou are research objects of this paper.The paper has use a method of “on-day-tracking”,which means that the author would spend the whole day to keep the record of “migration of the elderly”.In the meantime,the method of in-depth interview will also be employed to gather more inclusive and real materials.And this thesis also aims to discuss the social behavior of old people in the square,as well as to accomplish a functional module reconstruction of “community park public facilities”,which will offer thinking and direction for the application of SAPAD theoretical framework.The research analyzes the social behavior of old people in the community park from the record.Then it divides the tasks to subtask and analyzes them from behavior to significance.Meanwhile,it tries to find out the different level of layers,including thesocial,physical,language structure,experience,semantic and pragmatic layers in order to make out the core meaning of cluster.Moreover,it builds up core meaning relationship and completes mapping relationship of behavior-significance-object.At last,according to significance to build up the product,it gives out the service design and community information terminal product design which satisfies the need of user social needs.This study is to brand extension research of SAPAD theoretical framework,explore its real effect in the product design and offer new thinking and inspiration for the national fund project home-based care services integrated with medical care.On the one hand,the purpose of the paper is to help migration of the elderly to know about various news of the community;on the other hand its goal is to help them know about news,adapt to society and make friends in activities.At last it will also aim to provide practical reference case for SAPAD's theoretical framework,so as to perfect the theoretical system of product system based on the semiotics.
