With the popularity of mobile phones and computers,monitors are widely used in people's lives.While the traditional displays have been unable to meet the needs of people,liquid crystal displays with high picture quality and Color saturation stand out of a variety of products.People believe that they will have better display effects.As the liquid crystal itself has the characteristics of non-luminous,the backlight module in liquid crystal display has a great impact on the light effect of the top surface.The source of side-incident back light module locates in the side face.As a result,it reduces the thickness of the entire module and satisfies people's pursuit of the thinnest electronic products.However,it is difficult to make the side-incident lights emit from the surface uniformly,so the design of light guide plate must raise enough attention.The thesis analyzes the law of the lights transmitted in the light guide plate to clarify the importance of the scattering netted dots on the bottom surface for the entire light guide plate's optical properties.The original network design theories regard network as molecule and they focus on the analysis of the influences of forces between the networks.In general,the whole process is more cumbersome.The article is based on the uniformity of illuminance and it deduces the formula of point coordinates from the definition formula of illuminance,and therefore the method of dot design is simplified.After getting the formula,the distribution of the dots is simulated in the optical simulation software Light Tools.The illumination diagram is drawn by Matlab software after obtaining illuminance of light guide plate under this distribution.The uniformity and utilization ratio can finally be achieved.Aiming at the deficiency of the illumination simulation chart obtained by the design algorithm,the area of the bottom scattering dots is changed to improve the optical effect.The thesis mainly uses the method of changing the distance between dots on x axis and y axis as well as the regional distribution to make the scattering dot area of the dark area larger.In addition,changing the depth of the dots and modifying the parameters of the prism film can also achieve optimization purposes.The results show that the light guide plate with two different distributions has the highest light uniformity of 93.02%,which satisfied the demands of commercial light guide plates.
