With the development of science and technology, the liquid-crystal display has been the mainstream substituting for the Cathode Ray Tube. Because liquid-crystal display cannot certainly shine by itself, it needs the backlight module to realize its display function. In backlight module, light guide plate (LGP) is a key-component because of the function of guiding light. With the thickness of LGP decreasing and the quality request to make light achieve high brightness and the uniformity, the design and fabrication of LGP is very important. For the thickness decreased, the luminance and uniformity decreased. So studying on the process and design has very important practical significance.In this paper, firstly, the optical principle of LGP is given. Some knowledge about luminosity in the test of LGP has been described. Secondly, a model is set up to derive the rule of scattering netted dot arrangement by the optical theory. Light out function is calculated under ideal condition and some factors about affecting uniformity of LGP are analyzed. Thirdly, Light tools software is used to establish3D model of light guide plate, and the process of light transduction of light guide plate is simulated on this foundation. And a uniform optical result is gotten by optimizing of netted dot. At last, a forming experiment of injection molding is designed in this paper, and how the process affect products’ quality is researched.33℃of molding temperature,231℃of melt temperature,90cm/sec of filling speed,10second of packing time,7.5MPa of packing pressure、35seconds of cooling time are gotten as the optimum set of process parameters by experiment.
