With the development of microelectronic technology and the progress of science technology,flat panel display with LCD as the leading technology gradually replaces the traditional cathode ray tube display,and has become one of the mainstream products in the information field.Liquid crystal does not have luminous characteristics by itself,so it is necessary to use the backlight module to realize the display function of LCD.And because the light guide plate has the function of guiding light,it plays an important role in the backlight module.Light guide plate has higher requirements for quality,among which the most important point is to achieve high brightness and uniformity.However,at this stage,with the development trend of the backlight module becoming thinner,the thickness reduction requirements of the light guide plate have been put forward.In view of the fact that the thickness of the light guide plate is lowered,the brightness and uniformity of the light guide plate will be affected,so it is necessary to study the process of the thin light guide plate.Firstly,the paper introduces the research background and significance,then introduces the domestic and foreign related situation about the small size LCM module in the light guide plate process development;and introduces the components of the small size LCM module,and selects the components used in this paper,analyzes its display principle,and then introduces the structure and function of the backlight module;Then analyzes the LGP optical principle,structure design and optical performance measure;secondly the light guide plate light emitting efficiency function is deduced,and the light guide plate light relation curve between the diffraction efficiency and dot size;finally discusses the influence of the light guide plate thickness on the optical effect;With the aid of Light tools optical simulation software,the 3D model of light guide plate and the model of LED light source are completed,and the working process of the light guide plate is successfully simulated;Finally,according to the definition and related content of injection molding,the injection molding process is studied.The analysis method and the Taguchi,through CMold simulation and short shot experiment together,the light guide plate injection molding process were analyzed and discussed,further that the effect of packing pressure and packing time on molding quality,process parameter optimization is obtained.At the same time,through the optimization design of the network structure of the light guide plate,a more uniform light emission effect is obtained;Through the research of the process of small size LCM module light guide plate and the summary,we put forward the need to continue to study and explore the follow-up work in hand.
