In view of the current status of fermentation industry,based on the study of the microbial fermentation process and fermentation characteristics,a set of microbial fermentation control system with complete function,simple structure and prominent control effect was designed.According to the control requirements of microorganism fermentation,a set of automatic control system of microbial fermentation based on PLC,WinCC,automatic instrumentation and Ethernet communication was designed.The system adopts Siemens S7-200 Smart PLC as the control unit of the whole system.The host uses SR60 module and digital expansion with DR08 module,analog input and output extended by AM06 module,combined with sensors,transmitters,frequency converter and peristaltic pumps to complete the control of implementation components and the parameter acquisition such as temperature,dissolved oxygen,PH,pressure,speed and other parameters.The PC and SIEMENS WinCCV7.3 software are used to configure the man-machine interface,and the functions of setting and displaying the fermentation parameters,fermentation state conversion,automatic hand-switching and alarm output are completed.The communication between the PLC and the PLC,the PLC and the PC is realized through the Ethernet interface,and each parameter in the fermentation process is constantly adjusted so that the fermentation process is always in an optimal environment conducive to the growth of microorganisms.The control system has been successfully applied to microbial fermentation equipment and put into use,the results show that the control system is stable and easy to operate,and instead of the traditional manual operation to a great extent,which can control the fermentation parameters quite well.It has been significantly improved in terms of microorganism production and control precision,which can meet the design requirements.
