This paper introduces the electric & apparatus automatic control system of iron production process in Ma Steel Group(Hefei) Co., Ltd, including the PLC hardware configuration, control network and communication protocol, especially delivered the realization methods of PLC program for subsystems.All the automatic control system is composed of PLC controller stations and WinCC SCADA system, which form a distributed control system(DCS) connected by Industry Ethernet.According to the technique requirement, the computer control system adopts SIEMENS S7-300 PLC and ADVANTECH IPC, which mainly fulfills the data collection and storage, the combustion and switch control of hot blast stove, and the main hoist control. The WinCC HMI was designed based on the host machine, include the monitor pictures and relative program, which was responsible for the process data monitoring, historic data archive, and alarm detection.The practical operation of the control system shows that it runs stably and safely, the operation and maintenance are simplified, and the control effect is perfect and the cost was reduced.
