The degree of automation control for blast furnace has important influence on steelproduction and quality. Domestic steel enterprises to the development of the enterprise, hasbeen constant technical innovation, improved the ability of equipment control. The contextof the paper is the blast furnace automatic control system of NO.21380m3blast furnace inJiangsu province. The design of reasonable control system combine modern blast furnace’scontrol technical and developing trend, as well as the enterprise’s actual status.The blast furnace automatic control system consist of SIEMENS S7-400PLC controlstation, WinCC configuration of monitoring stations and industrial Ethernet. The hardwarecontroller select SIEMENS S7-400PLC. Select PID algorithm for mixed windtemperature control. Choose the fuzzy PID control method to control material chuteinclination.The design steps of the fuzzy PID controller was introduced in detail.Step7programming software written for system control program to achieve the data and processcontrol of blast furnace body, feeding systems and hot blast stove. The mathematical modelof air temperature and theinclination of the chute simulate in MATLAB. The monitoringpart adopt SIEMENS configuration software WinCC6.0as tap tool, to proportioningsystem meets the requirements of automatic proportioning, weighing, loading and weightcompensating. Industrial,Ethernet is responsible for the communication between thecontrol station and control station and the communication between control station andmonitoring station.The paper expound the automatic control system overall design, hardware selectionand software programming of every system, the mathematical model control andsimulation of air temperature and theinclination of the chute, and WinCC configurationmonitoring system of NO.21380m3blast furnace. Production practice has proved thepracticability effectiveness of the blast furnace automatic control system.
