Brewing Process Automatic Control System Based On WinCC

The demand of beer consumption volume has kept increasing in recent years in China.With the maturity of consumer and fierce competition of beer market,the request on beer quality and flavor becomes more exigent, with this demand, the level of automatic control for brewing is becoming higher and higher. Hence, brewing process with advanced automatic control technology is becoming the important way to improve the beer quality to satisfy the continuous increasing market demand.This paper provides a study on the technique and key problem in the brewing process, and puts forward a general design scheme on the brewing processing automatic control system, it also provides studies on the control of brewing temperature and on the test and commissioning of the brewing control system.The whole brewing control system adopts layered structure.The first layer, that is process control lay, is PLC,SIEMENS S7-400PLC and ET200M are selected in this system.It contacts directly with spot meter and instrument and fulfills the function of collecting spot digital and analogue signals and the functions of controlling the executing components.The second layer, that is supervision and control layer, is industrial control computer.The control system selects Siemens industrial control computer, it fulfills the function of configuration of human machine interface, and the functions of monitoring, managing and data recording of the control process.The MPI net is used between the connection of PLC and IPC, and Profibus-DP net is used to connect the PLC main station and subordinate stations.The design on PLC hardware configuration and software programming is realized through Siemens PLC programming tool STEP7. The supervising and controlling program is developed on WinCC platform, and has friendly human machine interfaces and adaptive recipe managing method.It also can supervise and control the production process directly.The control method in this system is a combination of modified PID arithmetic with bang-bang control and time based on/off control.It achieves good effects in practice.
