Water is the source of life.However,the pipeline plays an important role in water transport.However,the average leakage rate of water supply pipelines in China in recent years is 15%,which is higher than the 12% standard set by the state.Therefore,this paper designed a reliable real-time acquisition and processing of water supply pipelines remote monitoring system,to protect water resources is of great significance.In this paper,a water supply pipeline remote monitoring system based on ZigBee and WiFi is designed by referring to and comparing with the existing water supply pipeline leak detection and positioning technology,which realizes that the sound signal data is transmitted to the data processing center through wireless sensor networks and WiFi technologies,To prepare for the later call of the relevant algorithm to locate the leakage point,thus realizing the function of remotely monitoring the water supply pipeline.The system has three major components,namely ZigBee wireless communication network,ARM gateway and host computer.ZigBee wireless communication network through the use of sound sensor module to achieve real-time monitoring of water supply pipelines.The ARM gateway is the communication hub of the entire water supply pipeline remote monitoring system and functions as a connection to the ZigBee wireless communication network and host computer.Communication between the ARM gateway and ZigBee coordinator in the water supply pipeline remote monitoring system through the serial port and the C # host computer through the Wi Fi module to establish a connection through the TCP protocol so as to realize the communication between the ZigBee wireless communication network and the C # host computer,So as to achieve the C # PC on the water supply pipeline remote monitoring and control functions.The system workflow is as follows: First,the host computer sends a control command to the ZigBee wireless communication network to select the ZigBee node for monitoring the water supply pipeline so as to enable the ZigBee node to work.Then,the signal data collected by the sound sensor is sent to the coordinator through the wireless sensor network and then Coordinator through the serial port to the data sent to the STM32 microprocessor,and then STM32 data uploaded to the server through the Wi Fi module,and finally the use of C # language developed by the host computer to connect to the server through the TCP protocol,which will pipe sound signal real-time display(character and waveform Figure two ways to display),and the application of SQL Sever 2008 database software to save the data to the local database,and finally can call the collected data,the data for further analysis and processing,to achieve the leak location.After testing,this system has verified the feasibility of the remote monitoring function of the water supply pipeline to achieve the expected design goals.
