The application system based on FPGA has many advantages,such as low powerconsumption,small volume,fast speed,and so on.It has a wide application scene in the application system of image processing and high speed computing.This design is mainly to solve the problem of fast video and image transmission.Through analysis and comparison,we choose FPGA.Considering the parallelism of FPGA,we propose a design scheme of Ethernet based image transmission system based on FPGA,which enables fast video and image transmission.The system adopts Spartan6 series control chip of Xilinx company,and uses Verilog HDL language to write various functional modules.The main function design modules of the system include: the design of the global clock module,the OV5640 register configuration module,the image acquisition module,the FIFO IP core call module and the Ethernet communication module.The whole process of FPGA system works is to configure the FPGA chip and OV5640 image register,select image JPG format to compress the image,collect video image and FIFO cached video image data through image acquisition module,and use UDP protocol to design Gigabit Ethernet interface for fast transmission of image data;let video image be transmitted.The image can be basically monitored in real time on the upper computer.This design can effectively improve the data acquisition and data acquisition of the photoelectric detection platform,in which the transmission rate of Ethernet can reach900 Mbps,which makes the rapid transmission of the equipment data to achieve the basic real time measurement.So the efficiency of the equipment platform is more efficient and the intelligent photoelectric signal processing system is designed in artificial intelligence.The development of direction also promotes the development of sharing platform for network data transmission.Then,the Ethernet communication module is tested.The error free Ethernet communication module can realize high-speed transmission of data,and then run the whole system.The system uses 24 MHz clock to drive the image of JPG format with OV5640 resolution and 800x600 resolution.After the data width is 8 bit FIFO cache,the video image data is quickly transmitted through the Gigabit Ethernet of the UDP communication protocol when the length of the video image data is greater than 1024.The design system basically achieves the expected effect,realizes the fast transmission of video and image,and monitors the scene in real time...
