China is an ancient country with a long history and an amazing civilization.During five thousand years,our ancestors give us many precious historical and cultural resources.In fact,cultural relics are the witnesses of this millennium history.Behind them,we can see the wisdom of the working people of ancient China and the legendary stories of various eras.So,cultural relics are historic objects with historical,scientific and artistic values.In recent years,the state has paid more and more attention to cultural relics and TV programs of cultural relics are increasingly appearing on TV screens.Television media has become an important bridge of communication between cultural relics and the public.Through television programs,there are more people who have begun to pay attention to cultural relics and to love our history,which helps to let our excellent culture spread widely.This article begins with the concept of “cultural relics”,elaborates the characteristics and the value of cultural relics.It explains their importance and elaborates on the characteristics of television media.It shows that television media is the most popular channel for the propagation of cultural relics.Then the article aims to classify and put in order the recent TV programs of cultural relics,and then it uses the “National Treasure” as a case for our research and analysis from topics such as the selection of topics,content,objects,hosts,and reasons for hits.It also points out the problems of this program in combination with other programs.Finally,it puts forward some suggestions for the development of these TV programs,hoping to guide cultural relics TV programs to better disseminate the knowledge of cultural relics and to serve the public.
