| In the internet age,news client has become the most important channel for In a short span of five or six years,aggregate news clients occupy half of the mobile news market rapidly by virtue of the advantages of algorithm technology.The fact that such platforms replace human editors with algorithms for content control has caused great controversy,and therefore has become an urgent research topic in the academic world.This paper takes " today's headline" as the research object,explores the operation mechanism of algorithm gatekeeper in aggregate news clients,analyzes and summarizes its main characteristics,positive and negative effects,and discusses the solutions to the problems existing in algorithm gatekeepers.This paper is divided into five parts.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly focuses on the questions,literature review and research methods,purposes,significance and innovation.The second part is the gatekeeper theory combing,respectively from the traditional gatekeeper theory and network gatekeeper theory two aspects of combing,for the following case analysis to do theoretical groundwork.The third part is the algorithm gatekeeper of aggregate news client,mainly from the development background,common ways and characteristics of specific analysis.The fourth chapter discusses the impact,the author believes that the emergence of aggregate news client algorithm gatekeeper brought about reshaping the traditional news checks mode,emancipating the editor and improve the efficiency of checks,alleviate the " information hunger" positive role,but also brought about obvious negative effects,which increased the information ecological environment of low quality and vulgar,distorted the value of traditional news and the formation of "information cocoon" effect.Therefore,in the last chapter of this paper,the author puts forward three suggestions from the platform,the government management level and the user's point of view.first,the platform should give full play to the main advantages,improve the algorithm transparency and news checks professional;Secondly,the relevant government departments should improve the laws andregulations,strictly control the network information environment;Finally,the user should enhance the consciousness of action,supervise and assist the algorithm to do a good job of checks. |
