The Discussion Of Anti Corruption Report And Government Image Shaping

Since the eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China,our country's anti-corruption dynamics have been increasing constantly,the media and the public have increased their attention to the issue of anti-corruption,anti-corruption has become the object of competing coverage by major media.However,there is no specific news reporting standard for anti-corruption in China at present,as a result,some media's anti-corruption reports tend to be vulgar which has seriously damaged the image of the government.In addition,the lack of a comprehensive discussion of the relationship between anti-corruption reports and the government image-building in the academia,in this context,how the media can better shape the government image in the anti-corruption report deserves our deep thinking and research.The People's Daily as the central organ of the Party Central Committee,in the anti-corruption report,on the one hand,it bears the function of conveying both the party's and the government's anti-corruption attitudes and opinion as well as the guidance of opinion;on the other hand,The People's Daily provides guidance and reference for other media in anti-corruption reporting with its unique authority and representation.This paper selects selects the anti-corruption report of The People's Daily from2012 to 2017 as the research object,by using the method of content analysis and statistical analysis,by the method of combining quantitative and qualitative research,we analyzed the number of reports,the theme of the report,the layout of the report,the language style,and other categories,and analyze the internal relevance between the anti-corruption report and the government image-building.
