From ancient times to the present,Q&A has been the main way of knowledge dissemination.The development of the interconnection technology has led to several transformations of the media.The media has begun to subdivide in the process of transformation and the development of the Q&A platform has also been the case.From the early keyword searching way to social Q&A to today's paid Q&A,the methods and processes of knowledge transfer are constantly changing.Regardless of the way in which the Q&A platform exists,it should uphold a good knowledge communication environment for users.However,since the emergence of the paid Q&A platform,the phenomena of commercialization and entertainment of knowledge have frequently occurred,which sounded a warning to the Q&A platform.This article takes the paid Q&A platform as the research object,takes Ticino's Knowledge Gap theory as the starting point,and uses qualitative and quantitative methods to research the Knowledge Gap in the paid Q&A platform.The thesis mainly expounds the three phases and background of the development of the Q&A platform,and focuses on the analysis of the dissemination process of the Q&A platform.This article from the dissemination of five elements to analyze the process of paid Q&A platform,found that the paid Q&A platform is a field dominated by passers-by,and commercialization,entertainment content to seize the dominant position of the original knowledge.In the third part of the thesis,the author took a questionnaire survey to observe the status of knowledge acquisition by users in the paid Q&A platform.The result of the questionnaire shows that the user's use of the paid Q&A platform is based on the desire for knowledge,but the platform does not meet the needs of users.The author proceeds from the dissemination process of the fee-based Q&A platform and the user's use of the platform.Based on the data and information,the author finds that there is a Knowledge Gap in the operation of the paid Q&A platform and Knowledge Gap has shown an increasing trend in the paid Q&A platform.As a result,the average user cannot become a group that disseminates knowledge and can only play the role of audience.Excessive commercialization and entertainment lead to paid Q&A platform out of knowledge,users are more likely to indulge in the satisfaction and pleasure brought by money.The paid Q&A platformhas one-to-one professionalism,which makes the user interaction mode appear to be simplified.Through the questionnaire results,it is found that the paid Q&A platform is more inclined to push entertainment information,and the inefficiency of the "agenda setting" of the platform leads to the knowledge communication barrier of the paid Q&A platform.The paper proposes a series of measures to optimize the operation of the paid Q&A platform.The acquisition,dissemination,and sharing of knowledge are governed by the will of the general public.Therefore,improving the media quality of the masses is the key to bridging the knowledge gap.However,due to the heterogeneity and stubbornness of the public,it is a long and uncertain process to rely solely on self-discipline to reach the dissolution of Knowledge Gap.Therefore,the paid Q&A platform plays a “middle way” role in the dissemination and sharing of knowledge.Returning to knowledge leadership is the core of the operation of the paid Q&A platform.Reducing the entry threshold,setting up a reasonable tariff system,increasing interactive methods,and playing the role of setting the agenda are the main measures to ensure the operation of the paid Q&A platform,and strengthening the awareness of “checking” is An important guarantee for the operation of the paid answering platform.In addition to the mass media and the media,the government must also vigorously publicize the concept of knowledge sharing,protect the dissemination of knowledge,and make continuous efforts to achieve a better life.
