The new curriculum standard points out that physics teaching should promote the development of students' core quality.Which is the development of "physical concept,scientific thinking,scientific exploration,scientific attitude and responsibility".On the other hand,the new curriculum standard also emphasizes that we should focus on cultivating students' thinking and ability.An excellent teaching design is helpful to not only the smooth development of teaching activities but also the achievement of teaching objectives.The theory of SOLO Taxonomy is a kind of qualitative evaluation theory to evaluate the thinking level of students,which can reflect the difference of students'cognitive quality and quantity and provide a powerful theoretical framework for teaching design.Guided by the theory of SOLO Taxonomy,in this paper we have studied the thinking level of students and put forward more optimized teaching design of physicsBased on the theory of SOLO Taxonomy and teaching design,considering the new curriculum standard and students' thinking level,we propose the strategy from three aspects,the determination of curriculum objectives,the arrangement of teaching process and the establishment of teaching evaluation.Besides,the design of the case of "plane mirror" section is presented.We diagnose the current situation of students'thinking level by adopting the SOLO test.Finally,the teaching design based on the above strategy is put into the teaching practice for two months,through comparison,the validity of applying the theory to teaching design is verified,and it has good reference value.The results show that:(1)50%of the students are at the level of single point structure,30%of them are at the level of multi-point structure,less than 10%of them are at the level of association structure and extended abstract structure;(2)There is a positive correlation between students'thinking level and their learning results;(3)Through practice,the thinking level of students has been improved as a whole,and the improvement of boys is more obvious.
