With the advent of the 5G era and the development of artificial intelligence technology,programming education has received more and more attention from the state and the society.Basic programming ability is also regarded as one of the necessary skills for students in the new era.STEM education is an educational idea that aims to cultivate students’ comprehensive literacy under the concept of interdisciplinary integration.Scratch is a graphical programming software suitable for programming learning tools for children and elementary school students.At present,the development of Scratch education in China is in full swing.A large number of primary and secondary schools regard it as an elective subject in information technology.In education organizations and social training,scratch programming and its supporting sensors are also popular.The interdisciplinary integration of scratch programming and subject education has also become an innovative learning method that breaks the barriers to academic education.Based on the above research background,this paper conducts relevant theoretical exploration and practical research on the content of Scratch game and mathematics fusion learning mode under the STEMconcept.First,it expounds the background of the era,the educational background and the problems faced in this research,and determines the research purpose,research content,research methods and research significance.Secondly,it reviews the Scratch education at home and abroad from the three levels of development platform,discipline and learning mode,and does a good job of pre-document accumulation for follow-up research.Thirdly,the theoretical basis and concept definition of the learning model of Scratch game and mathematics fusion are carried out.Fourthly,based on learning methods,applicable objects,biased subjects,and student experiences,two different Scratch games and mathematics interdisciplinary learning modes were constructed,and related game cases were elaborated.Fifthly,according to the fusion learning mode of mathematics + Scratch game,the teaching experiment research is carried out in primary schools in Wenzhou area,in order to verify and improve the interdisciplinary integration learning mode constructed in the early stage.This study hopes to explore the current problems of interdisciplinary integration in primary school by exploring the learning model of Scratch game and mathematics under the STEM concept,and explore new ways of programming education in primary school.
