Research On Kindergarten Tuition Pricing Mechanism

In recent years,the phenomenon of “arbitrary charges and high fees”still exists in kindergartens in China.Kindergarten fees have exceeded tuition fees for higher education and have become an unsustainable economic burden for ordinary people.How to standardize the charging behavior of kindergartens and how to formulate reasonable fee standards for kindergartens have become the key to solving problems.To this end,the paper sorts out the development history and current status of kindergarten fees and the reasons for the existence of fees.According to public product theory,income pricing theory,cost pricing theory,market pricing theory,differential pricing theory and scholars' existing research,the impact has been found.The seven factors of kindergarten tuition are the per capita cost of kindergartens,the number of teacher-student ratios,the per capita disposable income of urban households,the per capita disposable income of rural households,the supply of pre-school education,the demand for pre-school education,and the per capita GDP.On this basis,this paper uses Jiangsu,Zhejiang,and Shanghai as examples to collect data on kindergarten fees and seven influencing factors,uses multiple linear regression analysis to attempt to construct a mathematical model,and uses survey methods to collect relevant data from Ningbo City.The mathematical model further validated the supplement.Through research,this paper draws the following conclusions:(1)The number of private kindergartens in Jiangsu,Zhejiang,and Shanghai has decreased,but the number of kindergartens for private kindergartens has been increasing.(2)The proportion of the government's commitment to the cost of early childhood education is declining,the proportion of parents' commitments is increasing,and the proportion of kindergarten's tuition fees to residents' disposable income is increasing.(3)There is a significant positive correlation between kindergarten tuition fees and kindergarten per capita cost,teacher-student ratio,per capita disposable income of urban households,per capita disposable income of rural households and per capita GDP,and significant negative supply of preschool education and demand.Related.(4)The mathematical model obtained through multiple linear regression has a good degree of fit.The relevant management department of kindergarten tuition fees can refer to this model to determine the kindergarten fee standard.In order to better solve the problem of kindergarten fees,this paper puts forward the following suggestions:(1)Researchers need to further improve the method of scientifically calculating the per capita cost of kindergartens.(2)The relevant management departments should more clearly define the fees and charges for private kindergartens.(3)The government has increased financial investment in kindergartens and set up more inclusive kindergartens.(4)The government guides,regulates,and supports social forces to donate funds.
