This study examines how social work is intertwined with older people with barriers to interpersonal communication in rural nursing homes.These service targets have different levels of barriers to interpersonal communication,mainly manifested in the phenomenon of being suspicious,unwilling to communicate with others,and excluding strangers.First of all,literature surveys,participatory observations,and in-depth interviews were used to investigate the interpersonal performance and causes of the 55 elderly people in nursing homes.Secondly,it analyzes the use of social support theory,empowerment theory,and superiority perspective theory in the absence of a communication platform,the desire to establish harmonious interpersonal communication needs,and the solution to physiological diseases,resulting in solutions to different needs.Therefore,according to the interpersonal interaction needs of the elderly in the hospital and the performance of interpersonal barriers,the author synthesized the multiple factors of the elderly in terms of physical and psychological factors,combined with a large amount of data,and finally established regular medical consultations and communication with family members with Chaoyang Hospital doctors.In combination with the work methods of the group,it provides professional services for a large number of elderly people in the institution,and finally enables the elderly to establish good interpersonal relationships with peers and relatives and friends.Through this study,the author believes that the use of social work methods to study the interpersonal aspects of the elderly in the X-pension institutions will not only help the elderly to improve interpersonal skills,improve the quality of life and happiness index of the elderly,but also help social work.The development of rural retirement institutions broadens their horizons and accumulates materials.
