Research On The Self-identification Dilemma Of The Elderly In Social Work Intervention In Nursing Home

With the continuous growth of the size of the elderly group and the increasing level of social development,the demand for old-age services for the elderly has also increased significantly,through the analysis of existing data and data,it is found that the current pension institutions have invested more in material conditions,but the attention to spiritual needs is obviously insufficient,and the mental health status of the elderly cannot be followed up in time.The elderly themselves will face various changes in old age,their psychological conditions need to be paid more attention to,and some elderly people have despair because of the self-identity crisis.Therefore,alleviating the psychological problems of the elderly through social work services so that the elderly can live in peace in their old age has a very obvious application value.This paper takes the self-identity dilemma of the elderly in the elderly care institutions as the starting point,and systematically studies this problem by using the case work method with the help of the relevant theoretical framework.In the process of research,the service object is placed in a specific coordinate dimension of the life cycle,according to the personality development theory about the psychology of old age Self-integration and pessimistic and desperate perspectives,using narrative therapy methods to help service clients recall positive story fragments in past life experiences,thereby influencing and changing the psychology of service recipients Cognition enables service recipients to face changes in the life cycle and living environment more positively,and enhance positive emotions and experiences.In the process of carrying out practice,the author will focus on special events in the life course,find out the causes of the self-identity crisis of the elderly,and assist the service recipients to correctly treat the current and past emotional contradictions,at the same time,pay attention to the overall continuity of the effect,so that the effect can be evaluated Throughout the stages of narrative therapy.At the end of the study,through the summary and reflection of the intervention process,constructive suggestions were put forward for the problem of self-identity crisis of the elderly in pension institutions.
