In recent years,with the advancement of the Great Silk Road,the cooperation between China and Tajikistan has become more intensive,and the number of Tajik students choosing to study Chinese in universities is growing every day.This article mainly investigated the situation of Chinese language teaching at Russian-Tajik Slavonic University,explored the situation of Chinese teachers and students majoring in Chinese language at Slavonic University,and analyzed the current situation of Chinese textbooks and classroom teaching.This article provides some reference materials and achievements for the study of Chinese language teaching at the Slavonic University and Tajikistan,and enriches the scope of the study of Chinese language teaching at the University.This article is divided into five parts: introduction mainly expounded the research background and purpose of the thesis,research review,research ideas and methods,focusing on the current situation of Chinese teaching in Tajikistan;the first chapter gives an overview of the teaching of Chinese language in Tajikistan,focusing on the development history of Chinese language education in Tajikistan and the current status of Chinese language teaching at the Russian-Tajik Slavonic University;the second chapter researched the Chinese teachers and students of Slavonic University,analysed the advantages and problems of Chinese language teaching of this University;the third chapter provided thinking of students learning,classroom teaching,curriculum setting,Chinese textbooks,Chinese teachers and extracurricular activities,and also provided suggestions for these six aspects of the research;the epilogue part of the article summarized the results of this research and the main problems found in the process of analyzing the questionnaire.This article found through that the teaching of Chinese language at Russian-Tajik Slavonic University has received student's praise and recognition for its Chinese teaching resources,local teachers,Chinese extracurricular activities and other aspects.However,there are some problems exist and improvements are needed regarding the curriculum,Chinese textbooks,test evaluation and other aspects.The innovative aspect of this article is a comprehensive study of the situation of Chinese language teaching at Russian-Tajik Slavonic University,which puts forward teaching suggestions from the aspects of student learning,classroom teaching,curriculum setting,teaching materials selection,Chinese language teachers and extracurricular activities.The shortcomings of this article arose mainly because the research was conducted on the “teaching” part of Chinese language teaching,no in-depth investigation was made into the “studying” part of Chinese language teaching,therefore,this is worthy of further study.
