Clinical Observation Of Xiaozhensan In The Treatment Of Yin Deficiency And Dampness-heat Type Eczema

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of xiaozhensan in the treatment of subjects with Yin deficiency and dampness-heat type eczema,and to explore the effect of xiaozexan on sleep quality,total Ig E,EOS,ECP,and IL-31 in peripheral blood in patients with Yin blood damp-heat eczema.Methods: A total of 78 cases with Yin deficiency and dampness-heat eczema were included in the study,and were divided into treatment group and control group by random number table method,with 39 cases in each group.The treatment group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine decoction(xiaozhensan plus or less)combined with cetirizine,oral,and 15% urea cream for external use.The control group was treated with runzaozhiyang capsule combined with cetirizine,oral,and 15% urea cream for external use.Both groups were treated for 4 weeks,and the clinical efficacy was evaluated after 4 weeks of treatment.Observe two groups before and after treatment the visual analogue scale(VAS),the percent of nocturnal itching time(PIT),the average activity intensity(AAI),eczema area and severity index(EASI),sleep latency(SL),sleep efficiency(SE),dermatology life quality index(DLQI)and serum total Ig E,EOS,ECP and IL-31 levels in peripheral blood.Results: 1.After treatment,the VAS score,PIT value,AAI value and EASI integral in both groups were all significantly lower than before treatment(P<0.05).Differences of PIT value,AAI value and EASI integral between the two groups all had statistical significance(all P<0.05),but there was no statistically significant difference of the VAS score between the treatment group and the control group.(P>0.05);2.After treatment,SL value and sleep score in both groups were significantly lower than before treatment,and SE value was significantly higher than before treatment(all P<0.05),and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.There were no significant changes in Ig E,EOS and ECP levels between the two groups before and after treatment(P>0.05),and the level of IL-31 in the treatment group was lower than that before treatment(P<0.05),while the level of IL-31 in the control group was not significantly changed(P>0.05).4.The total effective rate was 92.3% in the treatment group,and61.5% in the control group,the cured and markedly effective rate was 46.2% in the treatment group,and 20.5% in the control group.The therapeutic effect in the treatment group was better than that in the control group,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).5.No adverse drug reactions occurred in either group during the treatment.Conclusion: Xiaozhensan is effective in the treatment of Yin deficiency and dampnessheat type eczema.It can significantly reduce nocturnal itching and skin lesions,improve sleep quality,and reduce serum Il-31 in peripheral blood.It is safe and has no side effects.
