Evaluation Of The Clinical Efficacy Of Sophora Itching Of Eczema Decoction

ObjectiveTo provide a new thought of treatment of eczema of anus, the author observed and evaluated the effect and security, as well as the improvement of living quality, of Fumigation and sitz bath with Kushengzhiyangtang prescripted by professor Li Huashan. MethodWe recruited40patients who went to anorectal section of Guang’anmen hospital, diagnosed with eczema of anus and conformed to the inclusion criteria. Data of demographic including gender, age and profession, data of clinical including complaint, history of present illness, past medical history, family history and personal history were evaluated by the scores of itchy symptom, signs and living quality before the treatment, also the condition of anus were examined through visual examination, rectal touch and using anoscope. Granules of Kushenzhiyangtang were used by fumigation and sitz bath for14days treatment, after which scores of itchy symptom, signs and living quality were recorded to observe the effect. Relevant physical and chemical examinations including blood routine examination, routine urine test, liver function, renal function, routine stool test and electrocardiogram were recorded before and after the treatment to analyze the security. Follow up in the third month after curing to observe the situation of recurrence. All the data were statistic analysized by the software of SPSS17.0. Result1. The minimum age of patients with eczema of anus was21, the maximum one76, the mean age40.925±14.969, among which the most was21to30age, up to14cases. All the cases recruit, men account for70%and the proportion of men and women is2.33:1.2. The most common cause of eczema of anus was mental factors, like fatigue and tension, up to23cases (57.5%).3. The disease course of the patients is3days of the shortest and3years for the longest The mean course of disease is83.93±183.29days and the mid-course of disease is30days. Among the disease course of the patients,30days account for the most, the cases of which is11.4. Among the patients of eczema of anus,12cases (30%) had never been treated.25cases (62.5%) were treated with external therapy, being the most.5. The total effect is97.5%after treating14days. Itchy symptom was alleviated(P<0.05), signs and living quality were improved (P<0.05), all the results had statistic sinificance. The curative effect kept stabilize in itchy symptom, signs and living quality.6. The evaluate of security revealed that only one patient suffered slightly down in leucocyte before treatment and back to normal after treatment, all the other index of examinations before and after treatment had no statistic significance (P>0.05), and were all at normal levels. ConclusionKushenzhiyangtang has a positive effect on alleviating itchy symptom, decreasing effusion and moist and other discomforts, repairing and narrowing skin lesion, lowering the recurrence rate and improving the living quality. Having the advantage of direct action, good curative effect, low sdverse effects, convenient to carry with, precise and appropriate infredient, easily accepted by the patients, the method is suitable to generalize.
