Objective By comparing the clinical efficacy of "Tong Ren Shun Qi acupuncture" and conventional acupuncture in the treatment of mild to moderate depression(MDD)liver-qi stagnation type,to objectively evaluate the clinical efficacy of "Tong Ren Shun Qi acupuncture" in the treatment of mild to moderate depression liver-qi stagnation type, and to provide new ideas and methods for acupuncture treatment of depression.methods A total of 70 patients with mild to moderate depression of liver-qi stagnation type who were treated in the Acupuncture and Moxibustion Clinic of the First Affiliated Hospital of Tianjin University of TCM from March 2019 to January 2020 were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 35 cases in each group.Information on the patient's age, gender, marital status, and disease duration was collected before treatment. The observation group was treated with "Tong Ren Shun Qi acupuncture",and the control group was treated with conventional acupuncture. Both groups retained the needle for 30 minutes, once a day,5 times a week, for a total of 6 weeks. Before treatment and after the 2nd,4th,and6 th week of treatment, they were scored using the TCM Symptom Scale and Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD),and the clinical efficacy was evaluated by comparing the scale scores before and after treatment. The study data were entered into EXCEL,a database was established, and SPSS 23.0 was used for statistical analysis.Descriptive analysis was used for the distribution of the data, and t-test was used for the measurement data that conformed to the normal distribution;chi-square test was used for the comparison of enumeration data, and rank sum test was used for the comparison of grade data and measurement data that did not conform to the normal distribution.Results1.There was no significant difference in age, sex, marriage status, course of disease,HAMD score and TCM symptom scale score before treatment between the observation group and the control group(P > 0.05).2.The scores of HAMD and TCM syndrome scale in the two groups were significantly different before and after treatment(P < 0.05),and the scores after treatment were lower than those before treatment, indicating that the two groups had clinical efficacy.3.The scores of HAMD and TCM syndrome scale in the two groups were significantly different after treatment(P < 0.05),and the scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, indicating that the efficacy of the observation group was better than that of the control group.4.There was significant difference between the two groups in the reduction of HAMD score before treatment after 2,4 and 6 weeks of treatment(P < 0.05).5.The comparison of the curative effect of TCM symptoms between the two groups showed that after the 2nd and 4th week of treatment, the effective rate of observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P < 0.05);after the 6th week of treatment, the difference in the overall effective rate between the two groups had no statistical significance(P > 0.05),but the significant rate of observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P < 0.05).The onset of action was faster in the observation group than in the control group.6.After the end of treatment, the efficacy of the two groups was evaluated.Observation group: 4 cases were cured,15 cases were significantly effective,10 cases were effective,4cases were ineffective, with an overall response rate of 87.88%;control group: 2 cases were cured,7 cases were significantly effective,17 cases were effective,6 cases were ineffective, with an overall response rate of 81.25%.The difference between the two groups by rank sum test had statistical significance(P < 0.05).According to the rank mean value of the two groups, the clinical efficacy of the observation group in the treatment of patients with mild to moderate depression of liver-qi stagnation type was better than that of the control group.Conclusions1.Both " Tong Ren Shun Qi acupuncture" and conventional acupuncture are effective treatments for mild to moderate depression with stagnation of liver-qi.2." Tong Ren Shun Qi acupuncture " treatment of mild to moderate depression liver qi stagnation type clinical efficacy is better, faster onset.
