Objective:This topic is to observe the clinical efficacy between the method of performing acupuncture along foot Shaoyang meridian on head and the method of conventional acupuncture in the treatment of cervical vertigo, evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness, and explore more effective acupuncture treatment method, which will improve the effective prevention and treatment of this disease, improve the quality of life of patients, and provide a reliable clinical basis for the clinical treatment of cervical vertigo.Method:Cases of this project come from patients who were treated in the outpatient department of acupuncture and moxibustion of the First Teaching Hospital of Tianjin University of TCM from December 2018 to December 2019.The 62 patients of cervical vertigo were divided into2 groups by simple random grouping, including 31 cases in the treatment group(the method of performing acupuncture along foot Shaoyang meridian on the head)and 31 cases in the control group(the method of conventional acupuncture). Finally, the control group had 30 cases,by shedding 1 case.In the treatment group, the main acupuncture points were taken with Toulinqi(GB15),Fengchi(GB20),acupoints along the foot Shaoyang between Toulinqi and Fengchi,Sishencong(EX-HN1),Baihui(DU20),Wangu(GB12),Tianzhu(BL10)etc.;and the control group chose the plan referring to the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" textbook "Acupuncture and Moxibustion" in the new century national Chinese medicine university planning acupoints for the treatment of dizziness.Acupuncture was performed once a day for30 minutes in each group. And everyone are treated 5 times a week. One course of treatment included two weeks. Each patients was treated by two courses of treatment. The Evaluation scale of symptom and function of Cervical Vertigo(ESCV),the dizziness handicap inventory(DHI),and the clinical symptom evaluation scale for TCM vertigo were evaluated before, after two courses of treatment, and four weeks after the end of treatment. Finally,SPSS 26.0software was used for statistical analysis of each data.“P<0.05” indicates that the two groups are statistically significant.Result:1.Before the treatment, there was no significant difference in gender, age, course of disease,ESCV,DHI,clinical symptoms assessment scale of TCM vertigo in two groups of patients(P>0.05),so there was comparability between the two groups.2.Comparison of ESCV scores after treatment: The ESCV scores of the two groups after treatment and at follow-up were higher than their pre-treatment scores, which were statistically different(P<0.05);between groups, the ESCV scores of the treatment group increased after treatment also the rate was greater than that of the control group, and the ESCV scores of the patients in the treatment group were higher than the other at follow-up,with statistical differences(P<0.05).Tips: The symptoms and functions of cervical vertigo in the treatment group got better degree after treatment and follow-up.3.Comparison of DHI scores between the two groups after treatment: After treatment and at follow-up,the DHI scores of the two groups were lower than before treatment, and there were statistical differences(P<0.05);between groups, the DHI scores of the treatment group decreased after treatment also the rate was larger than the control group, and the treatment group got lower DHI scores at follow-up,which were statistically different(P<0.05).Tip: The degree of vertigo disorder in the treatment group got better degree than the control group after treatment and follow-up.4.Comparison of scores of clinical symptoms assessment scale for TCM vertigo after treatment in the two groups: after treatment and at follow-up,the scores of clinical symptoms assessment scale for TCM vertigo of the two groups were lower than before, and there were statistical differences(P<0.05);comparison between groups, the scores of the treatment group decreased after treatment also the rate was larger than the control group, and the TCM vertigo scores of the treatment group were lower than the other at follow-up,with statistical differences(P<0.05).Tips: The symptoms of TCM symptoms in the treatment group got better degree than those in the control group after treatment and follow-up.5.Comparison of the overall efficacy after treatment: the total effective rate of the treatment group was 93.55%,which was obviously better than he control group of 80%(P<0.05).Conclusion:After consulting a large amount of literature and clinical experience of the instructor, thissubject collected 61 patients with cervical vertigo.Comparing the method of conventional acupuncture, with the method of performing acupuncture along foot Shaoyang meridian on the head, there were the following conclusions:1.Both acupuncture methods can alleviate the symptoms of patients with cervical vertigo at different degrees, and reduce the scores of ESCV,DHI and TCM vertigo clinical symptoms assessment scale. However, the method of performing acupuncture along foot Shaoyang meridian on the head is better than the method of conventional acupuncture. And it can ensure a certain effect during short-term follow-up,and the effect is better than conventional acupuncture acupuncture.2.After treatment, the two acupuncture groups achieved good clinical effects, but the total effective rate of the foot Shaoyang meridian on the head acupuncture method was significantly higher than that of the conventional acupuncture method.3.The method of performing acupuncture along foot Shaoyang meridian on the head has the advantages of convenient treatment, low cost, less trauma, and fewer side effects.Furthermore, the acupuncture method has a strong acupuncture feeling and improves the treatment effect. In addition, compared with other acupuncture methods The main acupuncture points used in this method directly affect the head and neck, making the treatment more targeted. The matching of the acupoints at the distal end can also help patients with nausea and hand numbness. The main points and auxiliary points cooperate with each other. To the effect of overall regulation,it can not only treat the primary lesions of the neck, but also can clear the meridians, clear the collaterals, clear the consciousness, and be dizzy. The effect is good and it is not easy to relapse.
