| Objective To investigate the therapeutic effects of "Bo' s Abdominal Acupuncture" on Cervical Vertigo patients.Method 70 cases of Cervical Vertigo were randomly divided into a treatment group(receiving treatment of "Bo' s Abdominal Acupuncture") and a control group(receiving treatment of traditional acupuncture).For 5 patients suspended the treatment,there were 33 cases in treatment group and 32 cases in control group.Accumulated points,therapeutic effects and symptoms improvement and values of TCD were observed.Result1.Cervical vertigo symptoms and functional assessment scales There were no significant differences between two groups before and treatment(P＞0.05).The value after treatment showed significant difference (P＜0.05),which indicated that treatment group is more effective in improving symptoms and function impairment.2.Value of Curative EffectCompaired the curative effect of two groups,among the treatment group,23 cases was cured,7 cases made significant progress,2 cases improved,and 1 case was inefficacy.Among the control group,15 cases was cured,10 cases made significant progress,3 cases improved,and 4 cases was inefficacy,the difference was significant(P＜0.05).Both the total effective rate and the total cure rate showed significant difference(P＜0.05).3.Values of TCD test There were no significant differences of observation values of VA and BA before treatment(P＞0.05).After treatment,the values of Vp,Vd,Vm,PI of left and right Vertebral artery and basilar artery were decreased,but the values showed no significant differences(P＞0.05).Conclusions:"Bo' s Abdominal Acupuncture" has a better clinical effect on symptoms and functional assessment improvement,has an objective evaluation on Value of curative effect,and could have a better effect on decrease the values of TCD test,in the future it is a worthwhile work to do further research.As a innovative acupuncture therapy,abdominal acupuncture is a active and effective technique and has important clinical significance.
