Objective: By pricking jingming(BL-1) on patients who complain of cervical vertigo and comparing with needling Sanyinjiao (SP-6), we observe the influence of jingming(BL-1) on vertebrobasilar hemodynamics and provide objective basis for the use of jingming(BL1) for cervical vertigo in clinical practice. Methods: 45 cases were selected and randomly divided into observation group and control group. Blood flow velocity changes of BA, bilateral VA and PICA as shown in the two groups by TCD were observed before and after acupuncture. And the data were statistically analyzed by t-test to observe if there are differences between the two groups. Results: Clinical studies have shown that VA and PICA low velocity type have significant differences in observation group after the treatment by t-test (P<0.05). It shows that pricking jingming(BL-1) can improve the blood flow velocity of VA and PICA in low velocity type. There are significant differences of VA low velocity type between the two groups(P<0.05). It shows that jingming(BL-1) are better than Sanyinjiao (SP-6) in improving the blood flow velocity of VA low velocity type. Conclusion:There is significant improvement of vertebrobasilar hemodynamics on patients with cervical vertigo by pricking jingming(BL-1).So we have provided clinical objective basis for the use of jingming(BL-1) for cervical vertigo and the expansion indication of jingming(BL-1).
