Clinical Observation On The Therapeutic Effect Of Acupuncture Combined With Chiropract Ic On Cervical Vertigo

ObjectiveAcupuncture combined with chiropractic was used to treat cervical vertigo(cervical vertigo,CV),The scores of cervical vertigo symptom and function evaluation scale were observed before and after treatment,and the clinical effect of acupuncture combined with chiropractic technique was evaluated.MethodsCollected 60 patients who were diagnosed with cervical vertigo in Chinese Medsine Hospital in the city of Zhongshan from December 2017 to October 2018,and then all the patients were divided into control group and treatment group on average according to stochastic principle.Patients in the control group were treated with chiropractic,while the treatment group were treated with acupuncture and chiropractic.All the treatments were one time a day,the total treatment were 7 times.The scores of the?cervical Vertigo symptom and function assessment scale?were recorded before treatment and after treatment of the 7th time.Observed the changes of the scores between the groups.The patients were followed up 3 months after the ending treatment to record the number of medical interventions in 3 months due to increased recurrence of cervical vertigo.ResultsThere was no statistic difference between the two groups of sex,age,course of disease and?cervical Vertigo symptom and function assessment scale?scores before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment the?cervical Vertigo symptom and function assessment scale?scores of two groups were significantly better than those of the prior treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);After treatment,compared the Daily Life&Amp scores between the two groups,there was on difference in statistics(P>0.05),however,compared the trest parts of?cervical Vertigo symptom and function assessment scale?between the two groups,the difference was significant in statistics(P<0.05).Compared the difference of headache scores and Daily life&Amp scores before and after treatment,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Compared the difference of Vertigo scores,neck and shoulder pain scores,psychological and social adaptability scores before and after treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the two groups was 100%.In the control group there was 0 cases is cured and 0 cases is cured obviously effective,the others were the effective.The cured rate and the obvious effective rate was 0%while the effective rate was 100%.The treatment group had 7 cases to meet the cure standard,the cure rate was 23.33%,4 cases were obviously effective,the obvious efficiency was 13.33%,19 cases were effective,The efficiency was 63.33%,and the cure rate and obvious efficiency were better than that of the control group.The number of repeated medical interventions in the treatment group and control group after 3 months was 8 and 11,the proportion was 26.67%and 36.67%,The difference was statistic difference(P<0.05).ConclusionAcupuncture combined with chiropractic is effective in the treatment of cervical vertigo,high safety,less adverse reactions,and its recurrence rate was lower than that of simple chiropractic.
